The development of digital technology challenges our perception of the visual world. It also changed the definition of photography; clear boundaries between photography and painting are no longer valid. My current focus concerns the dialogue between photography and painting in our 21st century. My works gives the impression of digital manipulation even though the images are not digitally manipulated. Instead, I use the camera itself as a brush and paint the photograph during its process of creation. My aim is to continue the dialogue about virtual reality in a global world in which we find a fluidity between reality and its virtual expression which coexist intrinsically tied together.
